Job summary

Capital City is seeking an RN Supervisor for the night shift to care for our Residents and support their speedy recovery. You will be part of the Nursing Administrative Team, ensuring high-quality nursing care and patient well-being.

The ideal candidate is responsible, well-trained, and adheres to health and safety guidelines, with strong communication to coordinate with physicians, nurses and families. You will supervise LPNs and nursing assistants and expand knowledge by attending workshops

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a registered nurse.
• In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Responsible, compassionate, and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patient condition and assess needs.
• Observe symptoms and report to physicians.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses on care plans.
• Perform routine procedures (vitals, injections) and charting.
• Administer medications per orders and provide treatments.
• Maintain hygiene and safety of facilities.
• Provide immediate care in emergencies.
• Supervise and train LPNs and nursing assistants.
• Create a supportive environment for patients and families.
• Pursue ongoing education through workshops and conferences.
