Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Night Shift Care Partner to support nurses and the healthcare team in delivering compassionate, patient-centered care. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, vital signs, hygiene, and mobility under RN supervision in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and at least 1 year of hospital experience, with CNA or PCT training preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma GED is required.
• CNA or Patient Care Tech program preferred; all certifications upon hire unless stated.

Responsibilities

• Excellence in Patient Experience by partnering with health care team, patient and family.
• Supports an environment of healing by addressing patient needs and following the plan of care.
• Proactively offers assistance and comfort measures to patients and families.
• Provides patient care under the direction of the RN.
• Responds to call lights promptly and documents care in the EMR.
• Transports unit supplies, meds and equipment as assigned.
