Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Care Partner for the Wellstar MCG Health Medical Center night shift. You will support the RN, assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and help provide a safe, compassionate patient experience in a fast-paced unit.

This role requires strong communication, teamwork, and adherence to HIPAA. Training in phlebotomy or advanced skills may be needed, and shift work includes 3/12s for 36 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Must follow detailed directions and support care plans.
• Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with patient care tasks and daily living activities.
• Support patient safety and comfort; monitor vital signs as directed.
• Engage with patients and families to promote a positive experience.
• Document care activities in the EMR per unit policy.
• Assist in patient admissions and transport of supplies and meds.
• Adhere to HIPAA and infection control procedures.
