Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Care Partner to support RNs and the healthcare team during night shifts. You will assist with daily living activities, vital signs and basic patient care while promoting a positive patient experience.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork and the ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment, with adherence to HIPAA and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Rising Senior in Good Standing in Related Field or High School Diploma / GED (General-Preferred).
• Certifications required upon hire: BLS or ARC-BLS (Basic Life Support).
• Preferred: Graduation from a State approved CNA or Patient Care Technician program.

Responsibilities

• Excellence in patient experience by partnering with healthcare team, patient and family.
• Provide patient care under direction of RN, including basic ADLs and comfort measures.
• Participate in unit performance improvement initiatives and support nursing practice.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families and staff using AIDET and EMR documentation.
