Job summary

Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Nursing Assistant for the MedSurg CDU on FT Nights (7pm-7am). The Care Partner works under the RN to support patient care, assist with ADLs, monitor vital signs, and ensure a safe, compassionate patient experience.

Strong communication and teamwork are essential to thriving in a fast-paced hospital setting. Responsibilities include basic nursing tasks, data collection, and collaboration with the healthcare team to uphold patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Rising senior or HS diploma/GED.
• BLS certification required at hire.
• CNA/PCT program graduation preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Promote positive patient experience under RN guidance.
• Assist with daily living activities and comfort.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes.
• Transport supplies and medications as needed.
• Document care in EMR accurately.
• Participate in hourly rounding and patient safety.
