Job summary

Wellstar Health System in Georgia seeks a Nursing Assistant for the Night shift on MedSurg CDU at Kennestone Hospital. You will work 7pm-7am supporting patient care under RN direction, promoting a positive patient experience and collaborating with the healthcare team.

You will perform ADL assistance, monitor vital signs, and help with mobility, while maintaining safety, HIPAA compliance, and effective communication. Strong team players with good documentation skills are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Clear verbal and written communication, including documentation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be at least 16 years old.

Responsibilities

• Excellence in Patient Experience by partnering with health care team, patient and family.
• Patient Centered Care-Clinical Practice: Supports an environment of healing or wellness for patients which includes: addressing patient needs, following the plan of care as assigned or instructed by a licensed professional; and while carrying out role responsibilities, engages the patient and family in compliance with the treatment plan.
• Communicates patient care concerns/problems/emergencies to the RN or Charge Nurse in a timely manner.
• Documents completion of patient care in EMR (Electronic Medical Record).
