Job summary

Wellstar Kennestone Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Nursing Assistant for the MedSurg CDU at night (7pm–7am). The Care Partner supports the RN, promotes a positive patient experience, and assists with activities of daily living and comfort measures.

Basic skills may include phlebotomy and Foley catheter care as unit needs require. The role requires strong communication, the ability to work under pressure, and a compassionate, respectful service mindset.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Promote a positive patient experience by partnering with the healthcare team.
• Assist with daily living activities and comfort measures.
• Support clinical care by performing basic patient care tasks as directed by RN.
• Maintain safety, privacy, and HIPAA compliance.
• Transport supplies and medications as needed.
• Document care in EMR and communicate patient concerns promptly.
