Job summary
AdventHealth in Tampa, FL is seeking an experienced RN with supervisory responsibilities to coordinate patient care, supervise staff, and ensure adherence to hospital policies. The role involves rounds, staff reassignment, and collaboration with Directors to maintain high standards and resolve issues after hours.
Requires a Bachelor’s of Nursing, 3+ years of nursing experience including supervisory roles, CPR/BLS and ACLS certifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's of Nursing required.
- 3+ nursing experience including supervisory/leadership.
- RN license required; CPR/BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Strong communication and clinical assessment skills.
- Experience with Cerner EMR preferred.
Responsibilities
- Facilitates and coordinates resources to address unanticipated hospital situations.
- Supervises staff; may suspend employees for misconduct and documents issues.
- Reviews hospital policies and collaborates with Directors.
- Performs regular rounds and reallocates staff to optimize skills and workload.
- Ensures nursing care standards are followed and reports discrepancies.
