Job summary

Methodist Hospital Westover Hills is seeking a Nursing Administrator (PRN) to lead house-wide nursing operations during a designated shift, ensuring high quality, patient-centered care and serving as a liaison with hospital administration.

The role requires an RN with an Associate Degree or Diploma, with Bachelor’s degree preferred and 1+ year of clinical practice (3+ years preferred). This 12-hour night position offers opportunities for growth and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma Required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Preferred.
• 1+ years’ experience in clinical practice Required.
• 3+ years’ experience in clinical practice Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately assesses the needs of the Nursing Department and patients and facilitates resources for optimal care.
• Supports development and actualization of the Department of Nursing goals and communicates expectations.
• Serves as a communication liaison between on-call administrator and nursing management, staff, patients, families, and visitors.
• Provides on-site leadership and support for operational management of patient care areas during designated shifts.
• Monitors workload on patient care units and communicates observations to shift charge/coordinator and manager.
