Job summary

Required: Bachelor's in Nursing, VT RN license, four years clinical experience, two years supervisory, three years staff experience. Certifications include BLS/ACLS/NRP within six months; PALS recommended.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field preferred and VT RN license.
• Four years of recent clinical nursing experience required.
• At least two years supervisory and three years staff experience required.
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications due within 6 months; PALS recommended.

Responsibilities

• Assures adequate staffing and appropriate care levels and quality outcomes for all patients during assigned shifts.
• Gathers data, evaluates and adjusts staff mix to meet patient care needs and budget goals.
• Coordinates staff and supplies for emergencies or other urgent situations.
• Administers and coordinates institutional activities in the absence of Managers.
• Ensures compliance with Clinical Services objectives and reports.
