Job summary

Methodist Hospitals seeks an experienced RN Shift Supervisor to provide administrative and clinical oversight on an assigned shift and campus. You will ensure patient throughput, bed placement alignment with level of care, and coordinate with departments to maintain safe, efficient operations.

The role requires strong knowledge of emergency management, regulatory requirements, and excellent communication. You will lead staff, manage workflow, and uphold compassionate patient care standards.

Responsibilities

• Assumes responsibility for patient throughput to include bed placement as it relates to level of care and appropriate staffing.
• Identifies situations and circumstances that may impact risk and liability factors and refers appropriately by following the hospital's policies and procedures.
• Provides operational and administrative support to include patient care, facilities and emergency management.
• Serves as a resource to staff for clinical and regulatory issues.
