Job summary

Qualifications

• Current and valid license as a Registered Nurse.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• One (1) year prior experience as a Supervisor preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years acute care nursing experience
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and communicate with staff house-wide; ensure quality of care.
• Direct patient care as needed within scope.
• Assist scheduling after-hours procedures and standby staff.
• Enhance patient/family experience with explanations of hospital policies.
• Ensure temporary agency staff deployment and orientation in accordance with policy.
