Job summary

Encino Hospital Medical Center, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a House Supervisor RN for night shifts. This role provides administrative leadership, directs patient care activities, and supports staff across the hospital on a part-time basis.

Requirements include a current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and 3+ years of acute care experience with 1 year in supervision preferred. BSN preferred during consideration.

Qualifications

• Current and valid license as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification required at hire and maintained.
• ACLS certification within 30 days of hire and maintained.
• One year of supervisor experience preferred.
• Minimum of three years acute care nursing experience.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assumes administrative responsibility for department service functions on shift.
• Directs staff house-wide and ensures efficient operations and patient flow.
• Performs direct patient care when necessary within scope of practice.
• Oversees deployment and orientation of temporary agency personnel.
• Coordinates after-hours procedures and standby staff as needed.
• Enhances patient/family experience with clear explanations of hospital policies.
