Job summary

Encino Hospital Medical Center, part of the Prime Healthcare family, is seeking a dynamic House Supervisor (RN) to oversee nursing operations on the day shift. You will supervise staff, ensure quality of care, manage patient flow, and coordinate with medical staff to maintain safe, efficient service throughout the hospital.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license, BLS and ACLS, with acute care experience and prior supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license required.
• BLS certification on hire and maintained.
• ACLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years acute care nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Assumes administrative responsibility for department services on shift.
• Directs staff and ensures efficient operations and patient flow.
• Oversees care delivery and communicates with hospital staff.
• Supports scheduling of after-hours procedures and stand-by staff.
• Enhances patient/family experience with supportive interaction.
