Advocate Sherman Hospital in Elgin, IL is seeking a Patient Care Leader for the Ortho Neuro unit. This 36-hour-per-week full-time night position combines operational leadership with clinical nursing responsibilities in a Magnet-designated setting.

You will oversee care delivery, drive evidence-based practice, and coordinate resources for the current and next 24 hours while guiding the nursing team in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Formación

• Completion of an accredited nursing program or approved equivalent.
• Registered Nurse license in the practicing state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
• BSN is required.
• Two+ years of nursing experience, preferably with charge nurse/lead role.
• Strong clinical skills and ability to lead in a dynamic environment.

Responsabilidades

• Provide operational and clinical leadership to the unit during assigned shift, serving as a resource.
• Lead delivery of patient-centered, compassionate care.
• Promote evidence-based practice and performance improvement initiatives.
• Anticipate and secure resources for the current and upcoming 24 hours.
• Assist with department scheduling and accurate timecard reflections.
• Perform the duties of a Registered Nurse and model professional practice.
