Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago is seeking a Clinical Nursing Supervisor RN for night shifts to lead the nursing team within the Orthopedic Neurology and Spine department. You will oversee administrative tasks, staff performance, and unit operations, while ensuring high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance.

Qualificações

• Current and valid state Registered Nurse license.
• BSN preferred.
• BLS upon hire and maintain current.
• ACLS upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum of 2 years clinical nursing experience, with 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role preferred.
• CCRN certificate preferred for Intensive Care.
• NRP required 90 days after hire and maintained.
• Professional Certification within 2 years of hire, preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Direct and admin responsibilities for department service functions and collaborate with the unit Director/Manager.
• In absence of Director/Manager, assume administrative scope of the unit.
• Develops and implements departmental plans including performance improvement and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee orientation and training of personnel.
• Communicate with staff, physicians, and administration in writing and verbally.
• Ensure quality of staff and functions during shifts.
• Assist the Department Director in daily operations, directing and evaluating personnel.
• Ensure efficient departmental function and proper use of time, equipment, and staff.
• Perform direct patient care as needed within scope of practice.
• continually assess care and direct staff to modify the plan of care.

RN license
