Resthaven in Holland, Michigan seeks compassionate Night Shift Nurses (RN or LPN) to join our team. You will provide direct nursing care per resident care plans, administer medications, monitor health, document changes, and collaborate with physicians and the care team.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current, active Michigan Board of Nursing licensure as an RN or LPN.
• Previous nursing experience preferred, especially in long-term care or senior care.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct nursing care per resident care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments safely, support pain management.
• Monitor resident health, vitals, skin integrity, wound care.
• Observe/document changes and communicate concerns promptly.
• Carry out physician orders accurately and timely.
• Maintain complete electronic health records and documentation.
• Follow infection control practices and healthcare regulations.
• Respond to urgent situations with sound clinical judgment.
• Communicate professionally with residents, families, physicians, and care teams.
• Support and delegate to CNAs and clinical staff while promoting teamwork.

Pay Range

• LPN | $28 - $32.44 + Shift Differential
• ** Pay is based on experience and applicable licensure **
• RN | $32.50 - $37.68 + Shift Differential
• ** Pay is based on experience and applicable licensure **

Employment Type & Schedule

• Full-Time, Part-Time, PRN
• 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with individualized resident care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately, and support pain management.
• Monitor resident health, including vital signs, skin integrity, and wound care.
• Observe and document changes in residents’ conditions, and promptly communicate concerns.
• Carry out physician orders accurately and within required timeframes.
• Maintain complete and accurate electronic health records and clinical documentation.
• Follow infection control practices and applicable state and federal healthcare regulations.
• Respond to urgent and emergent care situations using sound clinical judgment.
• Communicate professionally with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Support and delegate to CNA and clinical support staff while promoting teamwork and accountability.
• Provide shift reports that support continuity of care and assist with unit coverage as needed.
• Float between units based on resident care and operational needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program and current, active Michigan Board of Nursing licensure as an RN or LPN.
• Previous nursing experience preferred, particularly in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, assisted living, or senior care.
• Experience working with older adults preferred.
• Maintain active licensure and required continuing education, and participate in ongoing professional development and in-service training.
