Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Tech I, Nuclear Pharmacy to assist the pharmacist and Tech II in daily operations and customer interactions. You will learn facility and equipment prep, cleaning, inventory management and how to perform mandated tasks in a nuclear pharmacy setting.

You will help with quality checks, order preparation and fulfillment, and support in dispensing processes while maintaining safety and compliance. This is a training position with growth potential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent work experience.
• State Board of Pharmacy registration preferred; licensure as a Pharmacy Technician preferred.
• Certification within 18 months of start date.
• Experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Manual dexterity for dispensing and handling small objects.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Must be flexible to work different days/shifts.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Intermediate computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assists pharmacist and staff in preparing facility for daily operations.
• Follows standard operating procedures to facilitate ongoing pharmacy operations.
• Collects and processes customer orders to ensure timely delivery of medications.
• Performs administrative tasks and assists customers to facilitate pharmacy operations.
• Maintains pharmacy safety through daily infection control procedures.
• Takes direction from other pharmacy techs to develop skills.
• Make deliveries to accounts with company vehicles as needed.
