Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Louisiana pharmacy license is required.
• National pharmacy technician registration preferred.
• Past IV experience is a plus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Manual dexterity and ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist and staff in preparing facility for daily operations.
• Follow SOPs to facilitate ongoing pharmacy operations.
• Process customer orders for timely delivery of medications.
• Perform administrative tasks and assist customers to support operations.
• Maintain pharmacy safety and infection control procedures.
• Take direction from other technicians to develop skills and knowledge.
