Job summary

Cardinal Health Nuclear Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to prepare prescriptions, draw radiopharmaceutical doses, and ensure quality control under supervision in a nuclear environment.

Responsibilities include inventory management, labeling, patient deliveries, and customer communication. NC license required; 18+ with driving duties; various shift options based on business needs.

Qualifications

• NC Pharmacy Technician license required.
• National pharmacy technician registration/license preferred.
• Experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred.
• IV or clean room environment experience is a plus.
• Must hold a valid driver's license.
• Minimum of 18 years of age due to driving of company owned vehicle required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares prescriptions by typing labels and obtain Staff Pharmacist approval.
• Draws doses into syringe or vial.
• Performs quality assurance tests on instruments and radiopharmaceuticals per guidelines.
• Receives, documents, and stores incoming/outgoing pharmaceuticals.
• Maintains computer inventory and records for Rx drugs.
• Assists with labeling blood cell products.
• Performs general laboratory and facility clean up.
• Clerical and administrative duties including billing and records management.
• Deliveries to accounts with company vehicles as needed.
• Communicates with customers by phone and assists with questions.
