Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. is seeking a Tech I, Nuclear Pharmacy to support pharmacists, learn facility operations, inventory management, and quality checks in a nuclear pharmacy setting. Training covers dispensing processes, order entry, and completion of mandated tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• Registration with the State Board of Pharmacy, licensure as a Pharmacy Technician preferred
• Certification within 18 months of start date
• Experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred
• Intermediate computer skills (ability to use computers and tablets)

Responsibilities

• Assists pharmacist and staff in preparing facility for daily operations through cleaning and quality control testing
• Follows standard operating procedures to facilitate ongoing operations
• Processes customer orders and facilitates timely delivery of medications
• Performs administrative pharmacy tasks and assists customers
• Maintains pharmacy safety and infection control procedures
• Takes direction from senior staff to develop skills
• Make deliveries to accounts with company vehicles as needed
