Medical City Dallas is seeking a Registered Nurse NICU for a Level IV unit on a full-time night shift (7P-7A). The 108-bed NICU provides high-level care for critically ill newborns and requires Magnet Hospital credentials. You will perform nursing assessments, plan and evaluate care, supervise staff, and teach families.

Required: ADN/BSN, Texas RN license, and 1 year NICU experience. Offer includes comprehensive benefits within a large health system.

Qualificações

• ADN / BSN is required w/12 month enrollment and 24 month completion (Magnet Hospital)
• Texas State RN license or compact license is accepted
• Must have one (1) year recent Level III or IV NICU RN experience in an acute care hospital
• STABLE must be obtained within 18 months of employment start date
• Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Responsabilidades

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and provide direct patient care
• Plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources
• Supervise non-licensed nursing staff within the RN scope of practice and in accordance with established policies
• Incorporate teaching into all aspects of nursing practice
