Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Registered Nurse NICU for a Level IV unit to deliver high‑quality, compassionate care in a busy 108‑bed NICU. You will join an experienced team dedicated to patient-centered outcomes and ongoing staff development.

The ideal candidate has a BSN/ADN with Magnet Hospital experience, TX RN license (or compact), and NICU experience. Must obtain STABLE, Neotech Resuscitation, BCLS, and PALS within specified timeframes.

Qualifications

• ADN / BSN required with 12 month enrollment and 24 month completion (Magnet Hospital)
• Texas State RN license or compact license accepted
• Minimum 1 year recent Level III or IV NICU RN experience in an acute care hospital
• STABLE must be obtained within 18 months of employment start date
• Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and provide direct patient care
• Plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources
• Supervise non-licensed nursing staff within the RN scope of practice and in accordance with established policies
• Incorporate teaching into all aspects of nursing practice
