Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System in Houston’s Greater Heights NICU is seeking an experienced RN to join our night-shift nursing team. You will provide professional nursing care, perform assessments, assist with exams and treatments, educate patients, and maintain accurate medical records.

The role requires BSN preferred, Texas license (or temporary/compact), and BLS/NRP/STABLE certifications. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, high-quality care in a demanding NICU

Qualifications

• Must hold active Texas nursing license or temporary/compact license.
• BSN preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to perform nursing assessments and care planning.

Responsibilities

• Delivers professional nursing care per nursing process.
• Performs nursing assessments and assists with exams and treatment.

• Coordinates care with interdisciplinary team to ensure positive outcomes.
• Ensures adherence to regulatory standards and hospital policies.
• May act as preceptor or mentor to staff.
