Qualifications

• Experience / Knowledge / Skills: RN levels from I to IV based on years of experience; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Delivers safe and appropriate care to patients according to the nursing skills inventory and age-specific needs.
• Coordinates planning for nursing care with an interdisciplinary team and makes appropriate clinical decisions.
• Collaborates with and may delegate to the healthcare team to achieve positive outcomes based on data and standards.
• Coordinates treatment plans; develops and implements discharge and transfer plans.
• Participates in systemic evaluation of programs and process improvement with patient-centered outcomes.
• Considers diverse patient needs across the continuum of care, delivering high-quality service.
• Adheres to regulatory and Texas Board of Nursing standards.
• Ensures safety for patients, staff, and visitors; follows Memorial Hermann policies and optimizes resources.
• Promotes professional growth by meeting mandatory education and skills competency; may serve as preceptor or mentor.
• Demonstrates commitment to compassionate, personalized experiences for every community member.
• Other duties as assigned.
