Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking a full-time NICU registered nurse for the Children’s Memorial Hermann TMC location, night shift only. Must have at least 1 year of Level III/IV NICU experience and a Texas RN license.

Responsibilities

Delivers safe and appropriate care to NICU patients according to the patient needs.
Coordinates nursing care with an interdisciplinary team and makes clinical decisions.
Collaborates with healthcare team to achieve positive patient outcomes.
Develops discharge and transfer plans.
Participates in program evaluation, process improvement and outcomes analysis.
Adheres to regulatory standards and hospital policies and maintains compassionate, personalized care.
May precept or mentor less experienced staff.
