Job summary

Location: Greater Heights NICU. Shift: FT, Nights. Requires 2+ years NICU experience; BSN, BLS, NRP, STABLE certifications. RN levels range by experience and supervision. Adheres to safety and regulatory standards and supports professional growth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current Texas nursing license or valid multi-state license to practice professional nursing.
• BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications may be required depending on discipline and/or nursing unit requirements

Responsibilities

• Delivers safe and appropriate care to patients per nursing skills inventory and patient needs.
• Coordinates planning for nursing care with interdisciplinary team; administers clinical decisions.
• Collaborates with and may delegate to the healthcare team to achieve outcomes based on data and standards.
• Coordinates treatment plans; develops/implements discharge and/or transfer plans.
• Participates in ongoing program evaluation and process improvement.
• Adheres to regulatory standards and ensures safe care to patients, staff, and visitors.
