Job summary

MercyOne Medical Group in Davenport, IA is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Neuro/Oncology Unit on the 3rd shift (7:00pm–7:30am), 0.9 FTE (36 hours weekly). You will deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to adults with acute medical and surgical conditions and coordinate care across a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include assessing patients, developing and evaluating care plans, monitoring telemetry, communicating with physicians and families, and promoting safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required.
• BSN preferred.
• RN license in Iowa; Illinois license within 1 year.
• BLS required; ACLS required if telemetry monitoring is used.
• Mandatory Reporter training within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Conducts assessment of patient status.
• Develops and revises plan of care based on goals.
• Implements and evaluates outcome-based care.
• Communicates with care team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Manages telemetry and cardiac monitoring when applicable.
• Provides age-appropriate nursing care on the unit.
