Job summary

Prisma Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Neonatal Intermediate unit at Patewood Memorial Hospital in Greenville, SC. The position involves providing direct patient care in an acute inpatient setting, with emphasis on family-centered care and adherence to safety, regulatory, and organizational policies.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred) and at least 1 year of RN experience.

Qualifications

• Education - Associate degree in Nursing. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• Experience - One (1) year experience as a registered nurse.
• In lieu of one year of RN experience, Prisma Health Nurse Residency or equivalent residency accepted.
• In lieu of RN experience, 1 year of LPN experience for internal candidates within same service line.
• In lieu of degree, nursing diploma with licensure accepted.

Responsibilities

• Collects data and completes nursing assessment utilizing appropriate standards and tools.
• Develops an individual plan of care in collaboration with patient/family and interdisciplinary team.
• Updates the plan based on changes in condition and communicates with team.
• Identifies goals and outcomes to be attained prior to discharge and validates with patient/family.
• Provides direct care to assigned patients consistent with the nursing plan.
• Delegates nursing tasks and ensures completion.
• Monitors quality of care and conducts performance improvement monitoring.
• Evaluates plan effectiveness and revises as needed, reports changes to the team.
