Job summary

Prisma Health in Greenville is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Neonatal Intermediate on the Night shift. The role involves directing patient care, coordinating with the healthcare team, and ensuring safety and quality in a high-acuity inpatient setting.

You will develop and adjust care plans with patients and families, perform nursing assessments, and monitor outcomes while adhering to organizational policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1 year RN experience required.
• Current RN license in the state where you will practice.
• In lieu of 1 year RN experience, Prisma Health Nurse Residency Program or another residency may be accepted.
• In lieu of associate degree, nursing diploma with RN licensure may be accepted.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care per the established nursing plan.
• Develop and update individualized care plans with patient/family input.
• Assess patient status and identify priorities for care.
• Document and communicate changes in patient condition to the team.
• Ensure safety and adherence to policies and infection control procedures.
• Participate in quality improvement and performance improvement activities.
