Job summary

Prisma Health seeks a registered nurse to provide clinical direction for patient care in an acute inpatient setting, with emphasis on patient/family-centered care in the Neonatal Intensive Care unit at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, safety, infection control, and collaboration to plan and adjust care, discharge planning, and quality improvement. Night shifts are included.

Qualifications

• Education - Associate degree in Nursing. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• Experience - One (1) year experience as a registered nurse.
• In lieu of one year of RN experience, Prisma Health Nurse Residency or comparable residency accepted.
• RN license in SC or eligible multi-state license required.

Responsibilities

• Gather data and perform nursing assessments using age-specific standards and tools.
• Develop and update individualized care plans with patient/family input and interdisciplinary team.
• Monitor patient status, document progress, and adjust the care plan as needed.
• Ensure discharge planning and referrals for continuity of care.
• Uphold safety, infection control, and quality improvement practices.
