Job summary

VALTO Inc in Florence, KY is seeking a Multi-Skilled Operator for the 2nd shift to support cross-functional production across lamination, prep, finishing, inspection, and assembly. You will operate equipment, assist with material handling, and help maintain quality and safety on the line.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and some manufacturing experience, plus the ability to learn multiple processes and obtain certifications such as forklift or crane if required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Manufacturing or material handling experience preferred.
• Ability to learn multiple production processes and operate equipment.
• Willing to obtain forklift, crane or other equipment certifications.
• Strong communication, teamwork and organization; safety-focused.
• Ability to read work instructions and production schedules.

Responsibilities

• Perform production functions across multiple departments, including lamination, material preparation, finishing, inspection, assembly, equipment operation, and material handling.
• Fill in for absent team members to maintain workflow and schedules.
• Operate manufacturing equipment, hand tools, cranes, forklifts, and other production machinery as trained and certified.
• Inspect products for quality concerns and support corrective actions to meet customer specs.
• Follow work instructions, production schedules, safety procedures, and quality standards; adapt to changing priorities.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas; assist with housekeeping, inventory movement, equipment maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
