Job summary

The Process Technician I-III at Amcor's molding department operates and maintains injection molding processes to meet quality, efficiency and productivity targets. You will follow EHS/GMP policies, set up machines, respond to alarms, and support changeovers while collaborating with teammates.

Applicants should be able to lift up to 49 pounds, handle repetitive tasks, and work a Monday–Friday night shift (11pm–7am). Training and progression are offered within tiered roles.

• Identify alpha/numeric descriptions.
• Flexible schedule and weekend/holiday overtime.
• Knowledge of mechanical inspection techniques.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to EHS/GMP policies.
• Lockout/tagout and Molten Polymer procedures.
• Maintain clean, organized work area.
• Set up machines with correct process settings.
• Start up and shut down machines/automation.
• Respond to alarms and correct malfunctions.
• Monitor molding equipment to meet efficiency standards.
• Implement quality adjustments as directed.
• Ensure finished product quality.
• Understand First Shot process with Quality Technicians.
• Line clearance and changeover responsibilities.
• Inspect scrap to identify root causes.
• Assist Production Associate during breaks.
• Complete required documentation.
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
