Job summary

Amcor in Muscatine, IA is seeking a Process Technician I-III to safely maintain molding machine processes and meet quality standards. You will work the 7pm-7am shift Saturday through Monday, report to the Shift Supervisor, and participate in lockout/tagout, documentation, and equipment adjustments as needed.

Tier progression to Technician II/III with training and salary progression up to $27/hr within the first year.

Qualifications

Experience with lockout/tagout policies and safety procedures.
Ability to set up machines/automation with correct process settings.
Proficient in responding to machine alarms and production issues.
Basic understanding of quality specifications and testing.
Maintain accurate documentation of production activities.

Responsibilities

Adhere to all EHS/GMP policies.
Lockout/tagout and Molten Polymer procedures are authorized requirements.
Maintain a clean, organized work area.
Set up machines/automation with correct process settings for quality finished product.
Start up and shut down machine/automation as needed.
Respond to alarms to correct malfunctions and address operator concerns.
Monitor molding equipment to meet efficiency standards.
Support Quality Technicians to maintain product quality and know when to shut down equipment to prevent defects.
Understand First Shot process and coordinate with Quality Technicians.
Inspect scrap to identify root causes and minimize losses.
Assist Production Associates during breaks as needed.
Complete required documentation accurately.
