Job summary

Hinkle Contracting, LLC, a CRH company, seeks an experienced Haul Truck Operator to transport aggregate from pits to plants and stockpiles in a safe, efficient manner. Reports to the Quarry Foreman and must pass pre-employment screenings; willingness to work nights, weekends, and travel as needed is required.

The role emphasizes adherence to safety rules, wearing PPE, and performing repetitive, routine tasks in an outdoor construction setting across central Kentucky.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate a haul truck safely and efficiently.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and report defects.
• Adhere to safety, health and environmental rules at all times.
• Operate truck between pit, plant, and stockpiles as directed.
• Willingness to work nights/weekends and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate haul truck to move raw and processed aggregate.
• Perform daily safety inspections and report hazards.
• Load and unload materials at designated locations.
• Follow loader operator and foreman instructions.
• Maintain productivity while observing all safety protocols.
