Job summary

Uponor in Hutchinson, MN is hiring for a 12‑hour night shift position supporting mixer and tool coating operations on the production floor. The role focuses on staging materials, disposing scrap, and preparing PEX tools for extrusion.

You will operate the mixer, run tool processing equipment, handle raw materials, keep the workspace clean, log production data, and collaborate with the team to drive lean improvements.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Basic mechanical and technical skills required.
• Must be able to work a 12-hour shift.
• Manufacturing experience of 1-3 years is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operates Mixer at a high efficiency level
• Operates all tool processing equipment
• Handles raw materials
• Maintain work area by keeping all tools and equipment in designated areas.
• Monitors all functions of Mixer (A), (B), and while in operation documents all data on Production Log
• Maintains communications with the lead and supervisor of the mixing and tooling group
• Handles and disposes of scrap material
• Seeks out opportunities to contribute to the business success through proactive involvement in lean initiatives
