Job summary

Uponor, Inc. is seeking a night shift operator to support material mixing and tool coating on the production floor. The role includes staging material hoppers, disposing scrap, and preparing PEX tools for extrusion, with a focus on efficiency and safety.

The position is full-time and in-person. You will operate mixers and tool processing equipment, manage raw materials, and maintain a clean, organized work area while coordinating with leads and supervisors.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Basic mechanical and technical skills required.
• Must be able to problem solve, multitask/prioritize and pay attention to detail.
• Must be able to work a 12-hour shift.
• Manufacturing experience of 1-3 years is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operates Mixer at a high efficiency level
• Operates all tool processing equipment
• Handles raw materials
• Maintain work area by keeping all tools and equipment in designated areas -5’s
• Monitors all functions of Mixer (A), (B), and while in operation documents all data on Production Log
• Maintains communications with the lead and supervisor of the mixing and tooling group
• Handles and disposes of scrap material
• Seeks out opportunities to contribute to the business success through proactive involvement in lean initiatives
