Job summary

Uponor in Hutchinson, MN is hiring for a production worker to support material mixing and tool coating on the extrusion line. You will stage hoppers, dispose of scrap, and prep PEX tools, operating mixers and processing equipment with attention to safety and efficiency.

The role requires basic mechanical skills, willingness to learn lean practices, and the ability to work a 12-hour 4x4 night shift from 6pm to 6am.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Basic mechanical and technical skills required.
• Must be able to problem solve, multitask, prioritize and pay attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Staging mixed material hoppers on the production floor.
• Disposing of scrap material and preparing PEX Tools for extrusion.
• Operates Mixer and all tool processing equipment efficiently.
• Maintain work area and keep tools in designated areas.
• Document production data on the Production Log and communicate with lead.
