Job summary

Uponor Corporation in Hutchinson, MN is seeking an Extrusion Operator for the night shift. The role involves operating extrusion equipment, setting up dies, performing changeovers (up to 10 per day), and ensuring quality per UL/NSF specs. 12-hour shifts with a 4x4 schedule enable four days on, four days off.

Training is provided, and the environment is climate controlled. Base pay ranges between $20.50 and $27.22 per hour, with an additional night differential and PEX premium.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent required.
• Good math skills, including metric system familiarity.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Basic mechanical and technical skills required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate computer-controlled extrusion equipment and perform die changes and changesovers.
• Record production data accurately on production reports.
• Conduct daily preventative maintenance checks and escalate issues to Area Lead.
• Maintain 6S standards and keep tools/areas organized.
• Assist in lean initiatives to improve business performance.
