Spherion Staffing, LLC seeks a Welder in Owatonna, MN for full-time, direct-hire placement. Starting pay is $24.00–$28.50 per hour, with a night-shift schedule from 7:30 PM to 6:00 AM and weekends off on a Monday–Thursday rotation.

Qualified candidates have 1–4 years of MIG welding experience in production, a technical welding background, and the ability to read blueprints and perform quality inspections. Safety and reliability are required.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years welding experience in a production environment (manual or robotic).
• GMAW skills test required: single-pass weld on 1/8" steel butt vertical down.
• Attention to detail and strict safety adherence.
• Reliability and punctuality essential for schedules.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on parts and frames meeting engineering standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics for welding processes.
• Inspect welds for quality and structural integrity.
• Weld, grind, and repair welded assemblies on raw steel.
• Complete reports and documents on time.
• Operate hoists safely to position parts for welding.
• Communicate production issues to supervisor.
• Adhere to all safety rules and regulations.
