Job summary

A manufacturing company is seeking a Welder I to work with components used to build equipment. The candidate will perform various welding and mechanical assembly tasks, requiring appropriate MIG welding experience and mechanical skills. The role offers starting pay of $20.00/hr with additional benefits including medical, dental, and 401K matching. This position is in a dynamic plant environment and may require overtime and Saturday work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Have appropriate MIG welding experience or completed a formal welding training program.
• Pass required entry-level plate test for production welding.
• Have appropriate mechanical skills, including experience using hand and air-powered tools.
• Have appropriate reading, clerical, and basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, technical manuals or documents.
• Set up fixtures and perform mechanical assembly.
• Lift and position large components using a hoist.
• Operate MIG welding equipment.
• Clean and check components for quality.
