Job summary

MIRATECH Corporation in Prior Lake, MN is seeking 2nd shift Welders to join our team. The role focuses on MIG welding, reading blueprints, and maintaining high quality standards, with a 3-day weekend schedule. Hours are Monday to Thursday, 3:00pm–1:30am, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Welding certification from a recognized technical institute or trade school is highly desirable.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to use welding equipment and related tools safely and effectively.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Experience in using electrical or manual tools (grinders, saws, squares, calipers).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Welding certification is a plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding based on product needs, welding round and rectangular elements.
• Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and other written instructions and diagrams to perform the necessary task.
• Knowledge of QC and product specifications.
• De-bur and grind metal as necessary to achieve proper surface texture.
• Knowledge of welding safety procedures and willingness to use PPEs provided.
• Other duties as assigned.
