Responsibilities

• Performs laboratory analysis on received specimens and provides clinical information for diagnosis.
• Maintains quality, efficiency and safety in assigned duties.
• Prepares reagents and maintains adequate supplies for test procedures.
• Follows testing procedures and quality assurance guidelines.
• Reviews procedures and documentation for accreditation; adheres to CAP, TJC, OSHA.
• Maintains clear shift-to-shift communication with leadership.
• Participates in staff meetings and competency assessment.
