Job summary

Trinity Health's Saint Francis Hospital in Hartford, CT is seeking a Medical Technologist for 40 hours on the night shift. You will perform high‑complexity testing, analyze body fluids and blood cells, and ensure equipment operation with calibration and preventive maintenance in a busy hospital laboratory.

Minimum qualifications include a BS in Medical Technology or AS in Medical Lab Technology, MT‑ASCP/MLT‑ASCP certification (or eligibility to obtain within one year).

Qualifications

• BS in Medical Technology or AS in Medical Lab Technology required.
• MT-ASCP or MLT-ASCP certification, or eligible to sit for certification within the first year.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Performs high‑complexity testing in a fast‑paced hospital laboratory.
• Determines normal and abnormal components of body fluids using chemical analyses.
• Analyzes blood cells and maintains/ calibrates analyzers and other equipment.

MT-ASCP or MLT-ASCP; eligible for certification within 1 year
