Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and NAACLS MT program completion with five years clinical lab experience or two years with MLT certification.
• Previous experience as Medical Technologist preferred.
• Medical Technologist (MT) ASCP certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs and provides accurate laboratory test results on human patients.
• Prepares and issues blood components for patient transfusions.
• Assists in collection and transport of patient samples to lab sections.
• Handles hazardous materials per regulations to ensure safety.
• Maintains inventory of supplies, materials, and equipment for lab operations.
• Supervises, trains, and reviews work of students and lower-level technicians.
• Operates complex laboratory instruments and instructs others in usage.
