Responsibilities

• Follows testing procedures and quality assurance guidelines for equipment and work area.
• Maintains inventory and reduces departmental waste/expense.
• Exercises clinical judgment to identify priorities and troubleshoot test systems with appropriate departments.
• Reviews and updates procedures and documentation to comply with CAP, TJC, OSHA.
• Maintains clear shift-to-shift communications with leadership regarding issues affecting patient care or department operation.
• Participates in staff meetings, task forces, or projects to implement changes.
• Participates in competency assessment program where qualified.
