Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician for a full-time night shift rotating through chemistry, hematology, blood bank, coagulation, and urinalysis. The role emphasizes accurate testing, instrument maintenance, and timely reporting of results to support patient care.

The position requires competency in English, a credentialed education program, and preferred hospital lab experience.

Formación

• Education program approved by credentialing body for required credential(s).
• One year of hospital lab experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Performs qualitative and quantitative tests and examinations using analyzers and manual methods.
• Organizes workload and sets priorities; meets turnaround time expectations defined by management.
• Recognizes test discrepancies and notifies management for follow-up and corrective action.
• Calibrates instruments, performs quality control, and maintenance as required.
• Maintains patient/test records in Laboratory Information Systems and other databases.
