• 1 year of experience performing specimen collection or testing.

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Ability to organize work and set priorities.

Responsibilities

• Process and handle blood and other specimens according to established procedures.
• Perform tests across hematology, microbiology, immunology, chemistry, urinalysis, and immunohematology.
• Quality control on analytical systems and identify out-of-control results.
• Troubleshoot questionable results and take corrective actions.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment with adherence to manuals and policies.
• Contribute to proficiency testing and document procedures in the system.
