Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in MLS/CLS, biology, chemistry, or related field.
• NAACLS MLS/CLS program eligibility may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Process and handle blood and specimens per established procedures.
• Understand specimen collection and pre-analytical quality testing for accuracy.
• Perform a variety of tests in hematology, microbiology, immunology, chemistry, urinalysis, and immunohematology.
• Conduct quality control on analytical systems and flag out-of-control results.
• Troubleshoot and interpret results; take remedial action when systems are out of control.
• Educate and train new team members and students as directed.
