Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience performing specimen collection or testing.
• ASCP certification or licensure; state licensure may be accepted depending on position.

Responsibilities

• Process and handle blood and other specimens per established procedures.
• Perform tests in hematology, microbiology, immunology, clinical chemistry, urinalysis and immunohematology.
• Maintain quality control on analytical systems and troubleshoot out-of-control results.
• Provide education and training to learners and assist with competency assessment.
